FAQ
Q. Do I rent the
accommodation first or book my airline tickets first?
A If you decide on one of our properties we will hold the
property for you for 72 hours without obligation to give you
time to arrange flights. When you have arranged your flight
and paid the deposit the booking will then be confirmed.
Q How do I pay?
A When you confirm your booking we request a 25% deposit,
and the balance 8 weeks before arrival. The money can be
paid into our UK bank or a cheque can be sent to our Cyprus
address. If you pay into the UK account we request you fax
or e-mail a copy of the paying in slip so as we can confirm
you’re booking. I am sorry but at the present time we cannot
accept credit card payment. If the booking is made late and
your arrival is within 6 weeks of booking we request payment
in full at the time of booking
Q. Do I receive written confirmation of booking and
payments?
A. Yes. On receipt of your deposit we will e-mail or fax
your confirmation, the same procedure will apply on receipt
of the balance. I
Q. Do I have to pay a damage deposit?
A. No. We accept minor accidents are going to happen, all we
ask is on your departure you leave us a note so we can
replace the items for our next guests. Any other damage we
would ask you to inform us as soon as possible and we would
negotiate an amicable outcome

you will be supplied with his contact details.

and do not use the accommodation towel at the pool or on the
beach
Q. Can you arrange car hire, cruises, and sightseeing
trips etc as well as give advice on restaurants and places
worth a visit?
A. Yes. Please click on the link on our home page for car
hire details. If you are interested in excursions etc we can
send you information in advance or arrange it for you after
your arrival in Cyprus.
Q. Is the Electricity supply similar to that of the UK?
A. Yes. All accommodation is fitted with UK style 3 pin
plugs and is 240v just like at home.
Q Now that Cyprus is a member of the EU is it still
necessary to have medical cover as part of our holiday
insurance?
The E 111 is now recognised in Cyprus and you may receive
treatment under these arrangements at the local General
Hospital. However, the majority of health care in Cyprus is
still in the private sector and the private clinics have the
most up to date equipment and treatments available on
demand. Our recommendation is that you continue to have
medical cover as part of your holiday insurance. Your
complete peace of mind will enhance the enjoyment of your
holiday and the value of this is infinitely greater than the
relative small cost of providing it!
Q Will we have language problems?
A. No. In towns and tourist areas over 90% of Cypriots speak
good English. You may have occasional problems with some
foreign workers whose English is not so good and in the more
remote mountain villages but you will get by with relative
ease compared with many other areas of Europe and some of
the more exotic holiday locations! |
